Spectrum Student Scholarship Program

Congratulations to the 2011 Spectrum Student Scholarship Winners: Colman Conner of San Francisco, CA, and Evan Katradis of Germantown, PA. Our thanks to them and all the entrants.

Spectrum iCan or My Life account members who are in college, or graduating high school seniors entering college, are eligible to enter our annual scholarship competition. Prospective applicants will need to submit grade transcripts and test scores, as well as letters of recommendation, and an original essay on the subject of using their education to give back to the community. In addition, each applicant will participate in a telephone interview with Spectrum's Scholarship Committee.

One winner will be chosen from each category (entering college and continuing college), and each will receive an $850 prize. Applicants will be chosen on the basis of both academic achievement and commitment to service to their community.

Copies of the 2012 application form will be available in the spring of 2012.
