Movers & Checkers Line-of-Credit (LOC) Loans The Movers & Checkers line-of-credit is designed to make it easy to switch your checking account to Spectrum from where it currently resides. When you open a Spectrum Checking account and have Direct Deposit of your paycheck, you may apply for this line-of-credit to help cover outstanding checks while your funds are being switched over from your financial institution. You may apply for a Movers & Checkers line-of-credit up to $1,000. (For the first 60 days, the interest rate is 0%. After that, it converts into the Advantage Line-Of-Credit at the current interest rate for that product.) The first order of checks for those participating in the Movers & Checkers program is free. The Movers & Checkers program consists of a Checking Account Closure Notification form in which you tell your current financial institutions when you want your account closed and what to do with the remaining money, a Checking Account Application form, a Change in Direct Deposit and Change in Automatic Payment form to notify institutions where you want your money directed.
